A deeper reflection on the path and responsibility behind the title.
Dear friends,
I was born with the name Carl Logrecco and was known by it for many years. After the passing of my father, I found peace and guidance through meditation, and in a deeply personal act of release, renewal, and becoming, I embraced the name Pierce Ahmen.
Later, through my ayahuasca path, I was given the title of Maestro Sani.
Together, these names tell the story of a life shaped by grief, transformation, devotion, and an ever-deepening commitment to walking beside others with presence, reverence, and care.

Before the name Maestro Sani, Pierce Ahmen spent 25 years in rooms devoted to transformational growth—facilitating, coaching, processing, and holding space for people navigating the hardest parts of the human experience. That professional foundation became part of what Soul Journey is built to hold: preparation, deep work, and integration.

Pierce began his transformational training through Tony Robbins’ Mastery University in 1999. His background also includes Landmark Forum / EST, LifeSpring, Nonviolent Communication, breathwork, personal training, bodywork, massage, and holistic healing approaches. He was selected for Tony Robbins’ Coaches Training program and later cleared to coach within that program.
His authorship includes Setback, Now Forward: How to Architect a Masterful Comeback, Healthy, Wise & Amazing Woman, and Sell Yourself Rich—work centered on personal agency, growth, and the choices that shape a meaningful life.
Pierce has shared his perspective across leadership, business, and personal-transformation conversations, including appearances connected with CBS Los Angeles, KCAL 9 News, and Good Morning LaLa Land.
His service includes humanitarian work in Haiti, Mexico, and Malawi, Africa; One Voice LA’s Christmas Feeding; and CASA advocacy supporting children navigating abuse and divorce proceedings.
This professional foundation is one part of Pierce Ahmen’s story. The Shipibo-Conibo context, Icaros, medicine framework, and Lineage material are held separately with their own sources and responsibilities.
Explore Lineage & PhilosophyMy path into this work did not begin with spirituality. It began with struggle. Like many people, I spent years navigating anxiety, emotional exhaustion, unhealthy patterns, and a persistent sense that something in my life remained unresolved, even when I could not clearly name it.
I searched widely. Through counselling, pharmaceuticals, self-development, and alternative healing. Each path offered something of value. But the deeper shift came when I stopped fighting what I was feeling and began listening to it instead.
Pain, I came to understand, was not the enemy. It was a signal asking me to pay closer attention to my life. The emotions we fear most are often not signs that we are broken. They may be calling us to listen more deeply, more honestly, and with greater compassion.

That understanding became the foundation of a lifelong journey. My exploration of breathwork, meditation, mindfulness, and the human condition eventually led me to plant medicine and shamanic practice, and to a profound change in how I relate to myself, to others, and to what is possible. A beautiful clarity filled my life, revealing a deeper understanding of myself, of others, and of the work I was being called to serve.
The journey also brought an honour I did not expect to receive so soon: the title of Maestro Sani. To be recognised in this way, earlier than is customary, was deeply humbling, and I received it with gratitude, responsibility, and profound respect for the path.
Today, after more than two decades of training in transformational guidance and shamanic practice, I bring that lived experience to people who feel ready for genuine change. Not as someone standing above the path, but as someone who has walked it.
From my heart to yours,
Maestro Sani
